Babies, babies, babies. We love babies. In fact over the last few years we have been slowly amassing a small mountain of fabrics and blankets in which to wrap up your precious babies and put them in cute baskets.
We take the responsibility of capturing these fleeting newborn moments very seriously. The first year of a baby’s life is possibly the year with the most visual changes to be captured. They seem so small and fragile, and before you know it, they’ll be running around like the Tasmanian devil! Let us help you capture this special time.
Newborn Portrait Session Fee is $1297 & includes:
- A photo shoot at the studio for approx. 3 hours.
- All digital files, including 12 with beauty retouching. {Approximately 20-30 images}
- Online Gallery within 7 days of your session in Pasadena.
- Use of our adorable newborn wraps, headbands, hats and props.
- Option to order prints from gallery.
Baby’s First Year Investment is $2697:
- 3 Custom Sessions – Newborn, Sitting and Standing/One Year Sessions {All Include a Family Portrait too.}
- A photo shoot at the studio for approx. 3 hours for Newborn and 60 minutes on location for Sitting and Standing.
- Approximately 20-30 images to choose from for each session, color corrected to look outstanding.
- All digital files, including 6 with beauty retouching from each session.
- Online Gallery within 7 days of your session
- Use of our adorable newborn wraps, headbands, hats and props.
- Option to order prints from gallery.
Newborn FAQ’s
How do I book a session when I don’t know when baby is coming? We get asked all the time. If you don’t know when baby will arrive, how do you book your session date? Just tell us your due date and we schedule the session for about a week after that.
If baby comes early or later do we just adjust the session date accordingly? Because most newborn sessions are during the week we have a bit more flexibility when it comes to changing the session date.
What’s the best age for a newborn session? The best time for a newborn session is 7-10 days old. This is the optimal time because they are still very sleepy, and flexible, which allows the session to be a lot easier. Baby hormones kick into full gear at around 2 weeks and the baby acne starts. If you want to skip the hormone phase, best to come in asap.
What if my baby is older? No problem. We have photographed babies of every age, we just need to know in advance if they are older so we can plan the poses and props accordingly. Older babies tend to be a more alert and active which just means we have to be a little more patient. 🙂
