This shoot was so much fun! It was a challenge at first. The night before I was freaking out about the lighting situation, in full sun with no shade around on a football field. Not a photographers favorite! My home studio looked liked a photography shop with gear everywhere, batteries charging in every socket and the dogs looking very confused. After deciding on the best equipment to take, drawing out a plan in my head of the shots we wanted, I was ready. I am soooo happy with the way this shoot went from start to finish. Thanks to Christine Ross, my numero uno make-up artist for doing such a great job with keeping that natural look that Sarah wanted. It was a hot day, but thanks to my human light stand, Kali Van Dusen, for holding my giant 8ft parabolic umbrella {yes, big name, big umbrella} I was able to get so many of these great shots, and we had a LOT of fun.
Sarah is an awesome lady that I’m glad to call a friend now. She is a very, very nice person and a great yoga coach. She specializing in helping athletes use yoga to prevent injury and work in recovery after an injury. She is not your typical nirvana loving yoga coach, not that we don’t love those kinds, but she works so well with athletes because she can relate. Sarah works with all sorts of team sports, as well as individuals in the Los Angeles area. From high school football teams, to college soccer and beyond. You can see more about Sarah and her work on her website here:
