It’s Family Portrait Month here at Nicola Borland Photography and Barbara was one of the first to book a session for herself and her granddaughters. Barbara is a classic example of why your family portraits should be taken, and why they don’t have to be what you may consider the traditional family portrait of mother, father and 2.5 children. It can be anyone you consider family, whether by blood or bond. Barbara also wanted to have these images so her grandkids could have that memory of them all hanging out together, laughing, and having fun. That’s my favorite reason for a session!
We had a fab time playing around at the Rose Bowl with all it’s great open space, and the girls were all up for the challenge of what can sometimes seem like weird scenarios. Like walking along talking to each other. You know, a totally normal thing to do, right? Maybe not, but the pictures look so great!
Barbara and her family also ordered some cool photo cubes from our special holiday product list and subsequently we are donating an extra $65 to Dando Amor for our charity donation, bringing their amount up to $215. There are still sessions available for this and next month so call to book your today. 1.844.746.8696. See you soon!
Barbara didn’t know the girls were going to run and surprise here. Great reactions here. One of my fave ways of getting a reaction from the crowd.
This one is my fave!
Thank you Nicola. They’re beautiful – the photos, that is. 🙂
