I just almost cried again making this blog post. If you saw the earlier sneak peek you’ll know that Kim is one of my favorite people and a best friend, all the way back from university days. I was so honoured to fly over to England to shoot her wedding to Phil at Santos Higham Farm Hotel. It was a bit rainy that day, but it managed to clear up at just the right moments to make the light perfect for shooting. Although we did have to do some puddle jumping!
There was nothing that I can think of that went wrong on the day. It was smooth sailing for everything from the flowers and cake, made by close friends, the delicious food at the hotel, including a whole roast suckling pig!, the perfect hair and make-up, the dress that fit like a glove, and the love that was shared on the day.
I can’t wait to see what adventures these two get up to together in the coming years. Hopefully they will be traveling to sunny California to come visit me… hint hint. Enjoy 🙂
The view from the hotel.
Phil looked very handsome in his suit.
Just the first of many twirling pictures you’ll see here!
Kim just saw the flowers. Here come more tears.
I took this shot, looked at the back of the camera, and I started crying, then I made Kim cry, who then made Jo, her sister, cry. What a mess!
Isn’t she gorgeous!
A beautiful reading from Phil’s sister.
I love this shot.
One of the best cakes I’ve ever seen… and eaten!
Love these next two as well.
Finally I get to be in a picture with Kim. Love.
Walking off into the sunset.
